2022-12-19 - One busy week

Monday last week we had a theme day at work. We meet up a the meat-town to a half days talk about being busy at work. The other half of the day we spend on a special guided tour at the City Hall. I really like City Hall because of all the big and small details.

The weather has been pretty cold. And the end of the week the expected temperatures at night was around -8 degrees. We talk about the outhouse at our summerhouse and decided to drive down on thursday evening to turn on the heat in outhouse so the water installations wouldn't freeze up or break. Tina had friday off and I worked "from home" or more precise from the summerhouse. We already had to drive home on saturday as we on sunday held a "small" christmas at our nice who would be with her boyfriend during the christmas. It was nothing big - just for cake, risalamande and hygge.

I was twice at the gym - but did nothing great or intense. Hopefully it will be different this week. At work we have begun preparation the closure for this accounting year by buying a hole lot of sugar.

2022-12-11 - Mass mice kill

The end of this week got pretty winter'ish. I went to the gym on wednesday to climb alone It was okay fun - and I banged up my fingers good without overdoing it. I was unpleasant cold and snow as I went home - my bike was all frozen up. The weekend plan was to head down to our summerhouse since it has been 2 weeks since last time. Tina could not join as she had weekend duty at work. I had developed this plan about driving early thursday morning and they work both thursday and friday from down there. But I am such a big child and woke up around 3 am of just excitement and couldn't sleep any more. So I say "fuck this" got up and drove just before 4 am. Never before have there been so little traffic on the reads - I was a very pleasant drive. The drive only took 2 hours and some minutes. I was a little tired and since it only was just after 6 am - I took a powernap before work.

I checked our mousetraps later thursday and found two kills. On friday yet another kill. I had to throw one away as it had mouse gue on it. We are now down at only three traps which were reloaded and ready for use. We use cashew nuts and peanut butter as bait. It works well and don't seams to last instead of just rotting.

I spend the weekend removing leaves and took one trip to the recycling yard. Else it was just relaxing alone time and of cause some wine.

2022-12-06 - I might be an asshole - but I don't feel that bad

On friday I went to the christmas lunch at work. For a change it was held at the Old Irish Pub at city center. It was kind of strange but very funny. The food was from out of house and was really not that good. One of my coworkers went to MacDonald across the street to fill up. There were no quite place, where you could sit and just talk. I had to yell all the time and couldn't hear what people said. As they clean the floor for dancing I decided to head home.

On saturday I went to Harald Nyborg to buy cheap toilet paper on my way home I drove buy the airport and MacDonald. How ever I was behind this white Kia which only drove like 35 km/t in a 50 km/t zone. Totally annoying! My hand slipped on the horn once but with no result. It turned out, he also was going for the MacDonald. I remembered to set the parking disc - he did not. I watched as he got a parking ticket while he was waiting for his food and I did nothing. Usually I would have give the person a tap one on the shoulder but not this turtle. I know - it was wrong style from my part - but somehow I don't feel bad.

On sunday we went to Fields to buy christmas stuff. I was expecting hell but it turned out to be okay. Tina took one for the team and took the longest line at Imerco. For the first time in over 3 years I bought some reel cloths. I really wanted a new sweater but it is hard to find something that fits because of my long arms. I worked my way though an outdoor shop, two sports shops and one men's clothing store and all I found was one sweater that would fit properly. However the sweater "ENCORE INTARSIA RECL KNIT" from Les Deux was made in china - and I just don't buy clothes "made in china" because of the suppression of the basic civil rights. The result was no sweater for me this time. Instead I found two nice pants "made in Turkey" - still not perfect but acceptable.

On monday I took the usual trip to the gym - nothing great to tell about except still no new injuries. On tuesday I finally bought new window wipers for our 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. Instead of originals I bought a Bosch Aerotwin A156S which kind of fits okay. They are just a little lose but nothing totally bad. Still they were pricey at just over 53 Euro. But they work and now I can see out even in rain.

2022-12-01 - Santa Claus

I went alone down to Lolland last thursday and stayed over the weekend. On friday I worked "from home". The plumbing company came by later to fix the broken motorize valve. This time it seems to work as it is supposed to. On saturday I went out in the garden for manual labor. First I cleaned some plant bed from weed and other unwanted green growing thinks. Then I duck up and cleaned some left over's from this summer. The plan is to sow grass went spring comes. I also cleaned the pellet furnace. As always it was a dirty job but has to be done for every 14 day, it has been turned on.

Back in Copenhagen - the christmas tree at City Hall Square has been turned on - despite the energy crises. The weather is dry and okay - not totally cold and misery yet. I still hope for a warm winter. This thursday I went by my wine dealer to buy to bottles of Ouzo. I have begun to mix Ouzo with Turkish pepper witch taste so delicious. I have to be careful that I don't end up as a drunk.

I have been twice at the gym. I am still very careful about giving 110 percent. I might have become fearful about getting another injury. Especially dynamic movement are tricky because they have such a high peak load on my body. I have found this blue 6B I might make a project out of. I will test it out on monday and see how it goes.

Tomorrow friday we are going to have christmas lunch at work. This year it is at the Old Irish Pub at city center. This is going to be very interesting. Last summer most of the department went down with the chinese Corona the week after. But what does not kill us makes us stronger.

2022-11-22 - I just had a "what ever I touch - it turns into shit" period

Her 5 years after I begun this site I find it harder and harder to make updates. My life is currently not the same as 4-5 years ago. I feel older and not able to do the same stupid as I use to. The worst part is, I am having real trouble in motivation myself in life. I have a tendency to remember all the shitty stuff and fast forgetting the good. I will not quit updating, but in the future there will be longer between the updates.

Last week we both had vacation and spend most of the week down a Lolland. As I pickup Tina from work saturday the temperature was around 15 degrees. When we drove home on friday the temperature was jumping between 3 and 5 degrees. The weather down there were pretty windy most of the time. Our project was to complete the application to get legalized the terrace and garage. Both applications have now been send to the city.

The next issue is the sewer. Because of water protection we will most likely revive an injunction about renewing the current sewer solution. This we already knew that would come when we bought the house. But I had hoped, that it would have taken much longer before it would come up in our faces. We can expect it will come next year. We have decided already to begin looking into solutions because this is something that will not go away.

We also had the local plumbing company by to look at the water heater - some kind of motorize valve had broken. That went bad - two days after the change the new one broke as well. Now I have to drive down there once more to get that one fixed.

The windy weather gave us time to finish a 2000 pic. puzzle. That was a hard one - I think I gave up aleast 5 times but still we managed to piece things together and get it done.

This monday the weather got real winterish with snow coming down in the morning. Thankfully it was all gone on in the afternoon as I drove to the gym for a climbing session.

2022-11-09 - Just a wednesday update

I went to the gym on monday. That was a good session. They had build new routes both on the short wall and on the long wall. We began on the short walls and the new ones there. Later we went down to the long walls but the new routes were too busy. I think both my elbow and shoulder finally have recovered. Not like 100 percent, I can still feel something is wrong when doing certain movements - but it is so little now and I am so happy about it. I am still careful about climbing overhang at putting too much load on my shoulders - but still it is progress.

To day on my way home I went by the wine store. I bought two bottles of Ouzo 12 and two bottles of Brachetto Negro Birbet.

I think my brain finally has accepted that the dark winter times are upon us - at least my mood seems to be a little more positive than the last month or so.

2022-11-05 - No selfie this week

Last week on thursday I went to a meeting at City Hall. I really like this old building with it so many details that you just don't see in newer buildings to day. In the "back house" is a large indoor bike park. That is just so nice especially in winter times where gears have a tendency to freeze. On monday the hole department went to the annual economics conference at Tivoli Hotel. It began with a speech Lord Mayor which were rather boring and more like a election speech. Beside that it was good experience and it was nice to be able to connect to old friends and former coworkers.

It was election day for the parliament this tuesday. I had already voted by postal weeks ago. It looks like the left side parties kind of won. Now the parties have to negotiate who wants to join up in a government. Time will tell whats what - it always does.

Some weeks ago I decide not to read news except weekends. I am still doing that and is kind of amazed. I had hoped, that I could read all the good stuff from the week and catch up that way. But the quality of news are just so wrong. Even though Berlingske that I pay for. Last weekend I only found two articles worth reading. Most of the time it just one side articles - especially about the evil and dictatorship Russia, where I just some times just don't believe the stories. Sometimes it is even laughable. But still Stupid Russian is on my "countries not to visit" like Israel, Turkey and china. The people are most likely loveable but their governments are just too evil from my perspective.

2022-10-26 - Late update - but doing the best I can when I go deeper and deeper

I would actually have made an update last weekend - instead I decided to be drunk all weekend. Last week was autumn holiday in Denmark where many children have school off and parents take a week of vacation. It was very quite at work the hole week. On thursday Tina and I had our anniversary. After work we meet up at city center. We wanted to eat Italian and went for restaurant Accanto. We decided to leave again - the restaurant was 2 floors full of noisy people and they wanted us to sit in the middle. Instead we walk on and found another restaurant called Limone where we settled down. This was a much better restaurant. It was half full as we came and got totally full after an hour. It had a better layout, so it was possible to talk even though there were many people. The down side was the price which ended at 180 Euro. That included a bottle of wine with a price tag just over 50 Euro.

I took friday off - no point of working went everyone else was off. My motivation was also totally low. After work Tina jointed up with her two sisters and drove down to out summerhouse at Lolland for a "sister weekend" - and leaving me alone at home in Copenhagen. I celebrated with drinking three bottles of wine during the weekend. I spend most of the time watching movies and just relaxing. I was naturally in the gym both friday and saturday for purification. This hole week she has stayed down at Lolland alone. I have not fantasy - so I just go the the gym almost every evening after work.

My climbing is going better and better. Neither my elbow or shoulder bothers me that much anymore - except I have become very carefully on what I do and how I do things.

2022-10-12 - One week gone like a fart in the wind + going to election

On thursday I had a climbing session at the gym - nothing great happened. We spend the weekend down at our summerhouse. On saturday we went by Red Cross and bought a used leather couch. It was a very good buy. After cleaning the couch looks just like new and is very comfortable. On sunday we glued the new letters on the house. That was easy with the template we also bought with the letters - it looks awesome.

Last week the danish prime minister announced general election on the 1. of november. On tuesday it was possible to vote by letter at some public buildings. I went to Østerbro library to cast my vote. I don't get the concept of an election campaign and find it stupid. Always evaluate the politician during their period and casting the vote will be easy. For me this vote is very important. I always say to Tina and my coworkers that people in other countries fight with their life for exactly this right.

Some weeks ago I decide not to read news daily. That has actually helped on my mood. So I will keep on only reading international news on sundays and only keep to very local news on normal days. It is strange such a little thing makes a huge difference - I guess it must be like the James Bond movie "Tomorrow Never Dies" - there is no news like bad news! And I like more balanced news!

On tuesday we filed the first application to Lolland so we can get permits for the buildings at our summerhouse. One huge steep. I think the next one will be the covered terrace. Hopefully this will go without too many problems.

2022-10-05 - Spoken with pictures

We spend the weekend at our summerhouse. It was raining much of saturday. We did some indoor work like taking in the furniture from the winter garden and inside. Mainly so they didn't get damage by moisture and cold during the winter. Else work have been keeping me busy with 9+ working hours monday to wednesday. I had a "late" session at the gym tuesday evening. I had planed on something easy and alone like the autobay. But I ran into an old friend and did some easy rope climbing instead.

2022-09-29 - Time goes on - but things go much better

It has been nice to be out at the gym again since last week, where I was a little weak and sick. The biggest moment was when I onsighted a 6B - a route I from the beginning really didn't had a good feeling about. But I did it in one "go" and even had a little extra at the end. I have be struggling on this other same grade route. I almost did it wednesday except the final clip, where I cheated. But many next week will glorify my hard work in the gym. My shoulder still annoys me - but it is getting better. Still I have to be really careful - I can still feel my every joint and muscle. On wednesday my right wrist came with a crack sound - but I think it was almost nothing. It has not really hurt - just feeling a bit strange. It is just so nice to arrive to an almost empty gym at 3 pm and leave it again around 7 pm, where it is totally full.

Work is still strange and plenty of things to do. This and next week is and will be busy. To day I had one of those rare 11 hour working days - but all ended good and we got things done.

I have decide not to read news for one hole week. Too many depressing news which began to ruin my mood. Only the weather forecast and local news are allowed until sunday.

I still haven't put this thing up my ass to check myself for bowel cancer - maybe next week.

2022-09-22 - So it is just a little fucked up at the moment

Things are just a little hectic for the moment. Last week the city of Lolland contacted us about us having buildings without permit. That gave us a little panic and sleepless nights. The biggest problem is that they are right. Right here and now before winter we cannot do that much about it. The solution next year will most likely be that we tear down the “barn” and maybe the garage as well. We have to measure out what can be accepted and do something about the structures which don’t fulfill the limits.

The days are getting shorter and shorter and the same with the energy. Last weekend we were out with my parents and family having lunch for my mother 80th birthday. Good food and we did a short walk afterward. My health is not that great for the moment.

Twice during the last two weeks I have been feeling more and less sick. Not like lying in bed but just not feeling good – my taste have been wired – so I guess I might have corona once more. I have been working from home the last two days and today was actually a good day. I might go back to work tomorrow.

The weekend two weeks ago at our summerhouse we began fixing the name of the house. We cleaned the wall behind old sign and have bought new letters in black aluminum. Hopefully they will come soon. We just have to paint the wall white again twice before we can set them up.

Work is a little strange. Because all is going to hell for the moment we will be affected by a tight spending limit next year. It is kind of a perfect storm because it at the same time hard to finish project this year because of supply issues. I really don’t hope that it will come to cutting down staff or something like that. My right shoulder still sucks and I am now that old that I have to send a poop sample so I can be checked for bowel cancer – how it just sucks getting old!

2022-09-04 - Back at work, DHL and a weekend at the summerhouse

The sun was just above the horizon monday as I drove to work.  It is just a little bit more chilled in the mornings than what I am used to. After work tuesday I drove to my bike pusher to spend a gift certificate from when I bought the bike almost a year ago. I need a new helmet and a front light. Buying the helmet took some time. The selection was big but you could not say the same about what was in stock. After some time I went for a helmet from Abus.

On wednesday after work we went to Fælledparken for the annual DHL run or in our case the annual DHL walk. Lots of people and good spirit. After the 5 km. long walk we got some food and just chilled out.

I was a the gym twice this week. Monday and thursday - I went alone on monday and just relaxed using the autobelay. Afterward I went to the gym areal and did some light weightlifting in hope of fixing the right shoulder. On thursday I climbed with an old buddy. It was only easy climbing as I am extremely careful. It seams that as long as I am careful and don't put too much load on the shoulder - it is okay.

Later thursday evening I drove down to our summerhouse alone. Tina had a deal with her sisters saturday (no men allowed), so I got the fuck out of town as fast as possible. My plan saturday was to try and fix some of the masonry joints on the outer house. You can really tell, that they are very old and tired - filled with huge holes and cracks. I think the end result is much better than doing nothing - I am almost a kind of proud hah hah
But at least not water will be able to get inside the wall during the winter and freeze, expand and then make new cracks and holes. Afterward I took my bike and drove the 4 km. to town. There was this "little" town party/meeting with garage sales and road stalls. I just drove forward and back once and the home again.

2022-08-26 - Solo vacation - day 5 - last day

I would had liked fresh figs for breakfast. But then I would had to find the ladder and climb on the roof. Instead I raided the blackberry in front of the house. The rest of the morning went with connection with people and surfing the internet. After lunch I went out to clean the driveway from fallen overripe plums and some which were rotten and quite disgusting - but it had to be done!

Afterward I gave the car a long needed wash and a partial wax - only the front and the two sides.

Now I am just waiting a message from Tina that I have to pick her up at the train station. Tomorrow is going to be very interesting, the weather forecast predict 38,5 mm rain - this is going to be the first major rain since the beginning of july.

2022-08-25 - Solo vacation - day 4

This is the last hole day of my solo vacation. Tomorrow afternoon I will pick up Tina at the train station at Maribo. The weather have change from windy to very windy and many more clouds filled the skies. To days primary objective was to give the house the second layer of white and finish off that project. It was extremely nice to give that "dot" a "done" stamp or at least "that will do". The house now looks much more nice and refreshed.

During the day a farmer had a little fire in the fields. I don't know if it was on purpose or not. I can understand, that it is a good way to prep the fields for next year.

As I was finished painting I looked at the roof on our winter garden and though that roof needed some cleaning. That turned out to be very satisfying but also hard work - like down on all four with a brush. After two and a half lanes I quitted for today and enjoyed the rest of the sun'ish day with some wine and a powernap.

2022-08-24 - Solo vacation - day 3

I didn't sleep that well tonight. I woke up around 2 am in complete darkness. Without any moon or streetlight like in Copenhagen the darkness was all consuming and I had to turn on my phone to be able to find the way down so I could pee. Afterward I was just lying thinking about everything and nothing - maybe for around 1 or 2 hours. Maybe it was because wednesday is the day where it changes from having more time in front to having less time compared to the time spend down here at the summerhouse. Sorry - if that sounds a little bit depressing.

I woke up around half past 7. After a quick breakfast I went out and began painting the house. First one layer of foundation and the one white layer. That took almost all day. I was finish around 3 pm with a bath in our open terrace. That was nice - just sitting in the sun butt naked and relax.

I had to drive to town to buy some groceries to be able to make dinner - else I am going to rest the rest of the day.

2022-08-23 - Solo vacation - day 2

Not much vacation to day! Woke up around 8 and was already excited about today's work schedule. My plan was to wash and clean the rest of the white edges on the house from dirt, moss and algae. That was easier plan than done - or more correct - it takes quite a deal of time to wash and clean. It was about a quarter to 5 pm before I was finish. I feel like I could just wash and wash and the water would still be dirty even after 4 times. At the end I had this "this will do" feeling. I finished with a butt naked shower in the garden. I was full of dirt and leftovers from the wall. The water from the water well was freezing cold and made my head hurt. But it was a good fresh up and very much live giving.

The program for the rest of the evening is wine and nothing!

2022-08-22 - Solo vacation - day 1

Not the most productive day of my life. Got up early'ish at 7 and did some real work for about half an hour. The rest of the morning until lunch I cleaned up the front of the house and removed weed and so on. In the back garden I found out that there actually are tiles underneath some of the grass - that I removed as well. I checked the spots, where the new grass is coming up - not that much yet. It has been mostly dry since last time we were at the house. Then it was time for some wine and a good power nap. It is vacation after all!

2022-08-20 - Bye to mother in law

This saturday we put my mother in law to final rest At Sundby graveyard. Afterward we had lunch at Café Vivaldi - not that great but okay.

Below are some snapshots from the week since the last update. Usually I am the first at work and have to activate the coffee machine from sleep mode. Driving on my bike to work has been pretty hot as the heat continues. On thursday I drove out to the dike for a swim in Oresund - that was very nice getting chilled a little bit down. Friday morning was especially beautifully with almost clear skies and no wind. I can see on the sun, that winter is coming. The sun is not that high on the sky in the mornings anymore and it is getting darker  in the evenings. I almost got a heart attack when I checked the prices on wooden pellets for the furnace at our summerhouse. A pallet now cost 620 euros for 56 bags/16 kg. Just before summer the price was 530 euro. Last year as we bought the house, the price only was 250 euro. This is totally insane! We are very privileged as it is only a summerhouse for us. But thinking of the people living there full time and have to cut expenses to make it though winter makes me sad.

2022-08-17 - Burning hot and yet another hole week of vacation

As you may notice I have change domain from cykeltyven.dk to mailpusher.dk. I have been though our budget and have begun to cut away expenses for things I really don't use. I use mailpusher.dk for all our mail accounts therefore that will be that domain I will use from now on. The other one will not be renewed with the next payment in november. Also in Denmark a lot of stuff gets more and more expensive and I believe I until now have been to kind and paid for stuff that I really don't need or use. I would much rather like to spend the money on stuff to our summerhouse instead.

Currently we have a heat wave in Denmark and most of Europe. At our summerhouse we have temperatures around 30 degrees which is pleasant hot. Until now it has been unusual dry. The water level in out water well at our summerhouse is very low like 5 or 6 meters down. Despite the heat I went twice to the gym last week and already twice this week - just to keep my body in shape and maintain the mussels. I went alone and used the autobelays and bouldering. It was good to be at the gym once more - but the state of my body is not that good. My right shoulder is still some how fucked up. That is not a big surprise as I can feel it very day. All these climbing injuries is really bothering but it would really really suck stop climbing. This coming session would become a quite one, where I just did relaxed climbing. But I am not sure I can trust myself on that one. Still the alternative could be, that I end up as a disabled person if I don't throttle down just a little bit. I got a pretty big reminder of this on monday where my foot slipped and all my weight ended up on my right arm and shoulder. That feel very wrong and I stopped climbing for that day.

Work is still like in a post-vacation mode where thing simply don't move that fast yet. It is nice when the pace is slow - the building don't have air-condition so we sit with open windows and grasp for fresh air like a stranded fish. This august I have been employed by the city of Copenhagen for 25 years - how time just pass away fast. Late september I will invite the department out for mini-golf and dinner. My work will cover expenses up to 3.000 dkr. (400 Euro) ex. VAT.

We had a busy weekend down at our summerhouse. I dove down thursday evening and picked up Tina at the train station on friday. We had "bonus" at the mousetrap - unfortunately it has been dead for some days. I tried to remove two tree stumps - first I tried to burn it down, but in the end, I just cut both down below ground level and sown grass on top. I have begun cleaning and repaint the white edges on the house. They haven't been painted for years and had to be thoroughly before I painted them again. This cleaning job was also hard for my right shoulder. My right arm quickly became tired. But painting the edges really shined up the house. I that I will get all the way around before the end of this season.

The mornings have been very beautiful with low mist and sun burning it away. That is something we just don't have in the city. We were able take home the first fig from our fig tree.

2022-08-07 - Three weeks of vacation

So we had three weeks of vacation. We drove down to Lolland on sunday morning. But it became a very short vacation. On that same sunday my mother in law decided, that she didn't want to live any more. This was the second time she had done that. So she totally stopped eating, drinking and so on. Last time she did that was less that three weeks ago and lasted four or five days before she gave up. But this time she was very decided and died in her sleep monday evening. This time it all went very fast - maybe also the heat (over and around 30 degrees) helped her on her way. We had to suspend our vacation and drive back to Copenhagen to help emptying her room at the nursery home, talk the a priest and just to be together with Tinas two sisters and the family. On wednesday the 27. of july we had funeral ceremony afterward coffee and cake at the nursery home, so everyone there could come by and pay their respect to Tina and her sisters.

Afterward we dove down to Lolland once again to continue our vacation. This year it was mostly vacation and garden work. My shoulder still troubles me, so I didn't want to go totally crazy. The most funny thing was cutting down our 22 meter high populus tree (from top to ground) down to only around 4 meters. That was great fun - beginning from to bottom and cutting away very thing on my way up. It took two days - on day one I only used my Bosch GSA 1100 reciprocating saw with a heavy duty saw blade for wood cutting. On day two as I began cutting down the main trunk of the tree I had to use my chainsaw as it simply was too thick. I must note - I am very impressed about the performance of the Bosch saw - I never in my wildest fantasies though it was possible to do so much work with it. But it eats wood for breakfast and is easy to control. It is heavy but still lighter than the chainsaw and much more controllable.

2022-07-14 - Just a quick update

The last days the weather have been from the kind side with temperatures around 25 degrees. Both monday and tuesday I took a detour on my way from work. On monday I first drove by "Nyboder", down to "The King's New Square" and then over Knippels bridge and home. On tuesday I drove though all of city center Copenhagen and to the end of Langelinie pier where I bought myself one huge soft ice. Copenhagen is a nice place to be these days. Many are gone for vacation and still not that many tourist in this post-chinese-corona-era.

It is really quite at work with an almost empty mailbox. Tomorrow friday I too will go on vacation for three weeks. Tina will be one day behind as she have to work saturday as well.

2022-07-10 - Clean desk and 6 more months to go before christmas

Earlier this weekend I was thinking about this lousy journal and the first post. I the beginning of 2018 I wrote "One thing is certain, that it will always match my effort." and lately my effort has been poor. Of cause I have many excuse - but the bottom line is, when life goes sideway updating this journal is not the highest priority. For now I have begun my summer break from climbing. I still have one week until our summer vacation, but the condition of my body have become a serious problem with the fell of pain everyday. Lately I cannot stretch my arms over my head with out serious pain in my right shoulder. My left elbow is okay - but I can still feel a pain in the joint.

I might just have learned a lesson in life. I have to learn to relax and not run all around all the time. It is hard not to be able to do, what I am used to - kind of depressing.

Tina had a huge cold. First her throat then pneumonia. It became so badly, that she had to be hospitalized due to breathing problems. It only now one week after, that she is back to kind of normal. We had a scan and a doctors appointment about the cancer. All is good and that we are very happy about. It would be nice, not to visit a hospital for a longer time than 30 days.

Work have begun to calm down. I have begun to do a lot of catching up. Most of my coworkers are currently on summer vacation - so the office are not that busy. Tour de france was in town. Most of city center was blocked for car and the roads was blocked. It was nice to cruise though town on my bike without all the cars. On friday with the first stage going on - I decide it was much easier worked from home. I also had to pick up Tina from hospital - so it was a win-win thing. Some of the old guy from work and me meet up at Tivoli for beer and to discuss the state of the work, life and everything. That was nice connection again like that.

Soon we also will have three weeks of vacation. I am pretty sure, that we will spend the time down at Lolland. We don't any special plans this year - except relaxing and drink some vino. I have another week late august. I have been thinking about driving to Norway again. It alls depends on the weather - I want mostly sun and temperatures higher than 15 degrees. Right now it is mostly below 15 degrees and lots of rain! I guess time will tell if it is possible. It is certain that I will not do the long drive just to be sitting in a tent while it rains. Another option could be a trip down south - but right now it is to expensive and and too many people.
